Abstract
A method of reproducing an audio file includes: applying a reproducing mode established based on an attribute information; obtaining at least a part of the audio file under the established reproducing mode; and determining whether the audio file is reproducible under the established reproducing mode by checking whether the part of the audio file constructs a specific format stream corresponding to the applied reproducing mode.

A method of reproducing an audio file, comprising:
- applying a reproducing mode established based on an attribute information;
- obtaining at least a part of the audio file under the established reproducing mode;
- and
- determining whether the audio file is reproducible under the established reproducing mode by checking whether the part of the audio file constructs a specific format stream corresponding to the applied reproducing mode.

An apparatus for reproducing an audio file, comprising:
- a mode establishing controller configured to establish a reproducing mode based on an attribute information;
- a reader configured to obtain at least a part of the audio file under the established reproducing mode;
- and
- a checking controller configured to determine whether the audio file is reproducible under the established reproducing mode by checking whether the part of the audio file constructs a specific format stream corresponding to the applied reproducing mode.

- a reader configured to read the audio file;
- and
- a controller configured to establish a reproducing mode based on an attribute information, determine whether the audio file is reproducible under an established reproducing mode by checking whether a part of the audio file constructs a specific format stream corresponding to an applied reproducing mode, and control the reader to reproduce the corresponding audio file in response to the determination.
