Abstract
The invention provides novel polynucleotides and polypeptides encoded by such polynucleotides and mutants or variants thereof that correspond to a novel human secreted stem cell growth factor-like polypeptides. Other aspects of the invention include vectors containing processes for producing novel human secreted stem cell growth factor-like polypeptides, and antibodies specific for such polypeptides.

An isolated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence which is at least 99% identical to the amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:18, or 27.
An isolated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence which is at least 95% identical to the amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 18 or 27.
An isolated polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 18 or 27.
An isolated polypeptide encoded by a polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 17 or 26, or the mature protein coding portion thereof.
