Abstract
In the case of a fitting for a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle seat, having a first fitting part (11), a second fitting part (12) connected by a gear mechanism to the first fitting part (11), a driving ring (26), which at least partially defines an eccentric (27, 29) and is mounted rotatably in the first fitting part, for driving a rolling movement of the second fitting part (12) on the first fitting part (11), and a drivable driving bushing (21) which is mounted rotatably, the driving bushing (21) and the driving ring (26) are connected to each other in a form-fitting manner by a transmission profile (24′, 26′).
Claims25
A fitting for a vehicle seat, comprising:
- first and second fitting parts that are connected to one another by a gear mechanism so that there can be a rolling movement of the second fitting part on the first fitting part;
- a driving ring rotatably mounted in the first fitting part and at least partially defining an eccentric arranged so that rotation of the driving ring causes the rolling movement of the second fitting part on the first fitting part, with the driving ring including a first transmission profile;
- and
- a rotatably mounted driving bushing including a second transmission profile that is mated with the first transmission profile of the driving ring in a form-fitting manner so that the driving bushing and the driving ring are connected to one another so that rotation of the driving bushing causes rotation of the driving ring and thereby the rolling movement of the second fitting part on the first fitting part;
- an elastic element for absorbing energy associated with operation of the fitting, wherein the elastic element is annular and mounted between a bearing and the second fitting part for being radially effective, and the eccentric slides along the bearing during the rolling movement of the second fitting part on the first fitting part, wherein:
- the driving bushing is made of plastic,
- the driving ring is made of metal and is distinct from the driving bushing,
- the driving ring is positioned in an opening of the second fitting part,
- the driving bushing is mounted in an opening of the driving ring and is also positioned in an opening of the first fitting part, and
- the driving bushing includes an inner surface that extends around an opening of the driving bushing and defines a third transmission profile.
A fitting for a vehicle seat, comprising:
- first and second fitting parts that are connected to one another by a gear mechanism so that there can be a rolling movement of the second fitting part on the first fitting part;
- a bearing mounted to the second fitting part;
- a drivable eccentric that is rotatably mounted in the first fitting part and is positioned in an opening of the bearing for slidingly engaging the bearing so that rotation of the eccentric causes the rolling movement of the second fitting part on the first fitting part;
- and
- an annular elastic element for absorbing energy associated with operation of the fitting, wherein the elastic element is positioned in an opening of the second fitting part and the bearing is positioned in an opening of the elastic element so that the elastic element is positioned between the bearing and the second fitting part for being radially effective, and wherein the second fitting part, the bearing and the elastic element are mounted so that any relative rotation with respect to one another is substantially avoided during the rolling movement of the second fitting part on the first fitting part, and the eccentric slides along the bearing during the rolling movement of the second fitting part on the first fitting part.
