Abstract
A canola cultivar designated 46A42, plants and seeds of the 46A42 canola cultivar, methods for producing a canola plant produced by crossing the 46A42 cultivar with itself or with another canola plant, and hybrid canola seeds and plants produced by crossing the 46A42 cultivar with another canola line or plant are provided.

A canola seed designated 46A42, representative seed of said canola variety 46A42 having been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-5335.
A method for producing a first generation (F1) canola variety progency canola plant, comprising:
- (a) crossing canola variety 46A42, representative seed of said canola variety 46A42 having been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-5535 with a second canola plant to yield progeny canola seed;
- and
- (b) growing said progeny canola seed, under plant growth conditions, to yield said first generation (F1) canola variety 46A42 progeny canola plant.
