Abstract
A therapeutic method for the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis is provided, comprising administering to a patient in need of said treatment an effective amount of ursodeoxycholic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof.

A therapeutic method for the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis comprising administering to a human patient in need of such treatment an effective amount of ursodeoxycholic acid, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable ester thereof.
