Abstract
The invention is directed to isolated DNAs having nucleic acid sequences which encode proteins which regulate aureobasidin sensitivity. Also disclosed are recombinant plasmids containing the DNAs, transformants containing the plasmids, and methods of producing the proteins.
Claims18
An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 2, 4, or 5.
An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence which is encoded by the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 1, 3, or 12.
An isolated protein comprising a portion of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 2 and which portion confers upon a cell resistance to aureobasidin.
An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence which is encoded by a fragment of the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 and which confers upon a cell resistance to aureobasidin.
An isolated protein comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 2 or containing one conservative substitution thereof and which amino acid sequence confers upon a cell resistance to aureobasidin.
An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence which is encoded by the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 1 or containing at least one mutation thereof and which confers upon a cell resistence to aureobasidin.
An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence according to SEQ ID No. 4 except that the 275th amino acid residue Gly in the amino acid sequence is replaced by another amino acid residue, and which confers upon a cell resistance to aureobasidin.
An isolated protein comprising a portion of amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 4 or 5 and which portion confers upon a cell sensitivity to aureobasidin.
An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence which is encoded by a fragment of the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 3 or 12 and which confers upon a cell sensitivity to aureobasidin.
An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID No. 4 or 5 or containing one conservative substitution thereof and which amino acid sequence confers upon a cell sensitivity to aureobasidin.
An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence which is encoded by the nucleic acid secquence of SEQ ID No. 3 or 12 or containing one mutation thereof and which confers upon a cell sensitivity to aureobasidin.
