Abstract
A cosmetic or dermatological powder, which comprises (i) from 5 to 60% by weight, relative to the total weight of the powder, of at least one starch modified by pregelatinization, oxidation, crosslinking, esterification or a combination thereof, (ii) from 30 to 90% by weight, relative to the total weight of the powder, of an oily phase comprising at least one oil, and (iii) at least one electrolyte, wherein the oily phase/starch weight ratio is ≧1.
Claims31
A cosmetic or dermatological powder, which comprises:
- (i) from 5 to 60% by weight, relative to the total weight of the powder, of at least one starch modified by pregelatinization, oxidation, crosslinking, esterification or a combination thereof, (ii) from 30 to 90% by weight, relative to the total weight of the powder, of an oily phase comprising at least one oil, and (iii) at least one electrolyte, wherein the oily phase/starch weight ratio is ≧1.
A process for manufacturing a cosmetic and/or dermatological powder, comprising:
- preparing an oil-in-water dispersion by mixing an oily phase comprising at least one oil into an aqueous phase comprising at least one modified starch and at least one electrolyte, the oily phase/starch weight ratio being greater than or equal to 1;
- and
- dehydrating the dispersion in order to obtain the product powder.
