Abstract
A process for producing a polymer which can be used as a powder coating material or a hot-melt adhesive in which at least one polyolefin is subjected to a low-temperature plasma treatment with frequencies changing during the treatment in a frequency range of from 30 kHz to 10 GHz.

A process for producing a polymer that can be used as a powder coating material or a hot-melt adhesive, which comprises subjecting at least one polyolefin to a low-temperature plasma treatment at frequencies changing during the treatment in a frequency range of from 30 kHz to 10 Ghz.
