Claims29
A method of treatment of hyperlipidemia in a mammal in need thereof which comprises administering to such mammal an effective amount of a compound of Formula I ##STR4## wherein:
- n is 1 or 2;
- R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are selected from hydrogen or straight chain, branched chain or cyclic alkyl, provided that the total number of carbon atoms contained in R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 when taken together is 0-10;
- or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are joined together to from a cyclic alkyl group having 3-7 carbon atoms;
- and
- R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same or different and are selected from hydrogen or methyl;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of the structure:
- ##STR5## wherein:
- n is 1 or 2;
- R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are selected from hydrogen or straight chain, branched chain or cyclic alkyl, provided that the total number of carbon atoms contained in R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 when taken together is 0-10;
- or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are joined together to from a cyclic alkyl group having 3-7 carbon atoms;
- and
- R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same or different and are selected from hydrogen or methyl;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate thereof;
- and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a compound of the structure ##STR6##
