Abstract
Pharmaceutical compositions comprising an antibiotic adsorbed onto a disaccharide polysulfate-aluminum compound such as sucralfate are effective for the treatment of ulcers. The composition adherently coats the ulcer, protecting it while imparting an antibiotic activity which accelerates healing.

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a disaccharide polysulfate-aluminum compound and a water-soluble antibiotic, said antibiotic being adsorbed onto said compound.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising the adsorption product formed by complexing a water solubilized antibiotic onto particles of a disaccharide polysulfate-aluminum compound.
