Abstract
Substantially purified beta (1,3) glucan extracts obtained from yeast cell walls, particularly finely ground, and including nutritional and dermatological applications, are disclosed.
Claims4
A method for restoring skin, comprising:
- applying topically to skin a composition comprising;
- purified water-insoluble yeast extract beta (1,3) glucan, wherein said glucan has a particle size of about 1.0 microns or less.
