Abstract
The present invention provides a liquid composition containing at least a cationic substance and bishydroxyethylsulfone. It also provides a liquid composition containing both a cationic substance having a molecular weight distribution with a peak within the molecular weight region of 1000 or less, and bishydroxyethylsulfone. The present invention further provides an ink set comprising a combination of the liquid composition and ink, and an image forming-method and apparatus which use the liquid composition and the ink set.

A liquid composition comprising a cationic substance having a molecular weight distribution with a peak within the molecular weight range of 1000 or less, and bishydroxyethylsulfone.
