Abstract
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, which comprises a support and provided thereon, a hydrophilic colloid layer comprising a silver halide emulsion layer wherein the hydrophilic colloid layer contains a compound having a solubility of not less than 1 g based on 100 g of water of 25.degree. C. represented by the following Formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A and B represent repeating units represented by the following Formulas (II) and (III); ##STR2##
Claims7
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support and provided thereon, a hydrophilic colloid layer comprising a silver halide emulsion layer, wherein said hydrophilic colloid layer contains a compound having a solubility of not less than 1 g based on 100 g of water of 25.degree. C. represented by the following Formula (I):
- ##STR50## wherein A represents a repeating unit represented by the following Formula (II);
- ##STR51## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms;
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may combine to form a ring, provided that one of R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represents a group having not less than two ether bonds or a group having one tetrahydrofurfuryl group as an ether group or when R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 combine to form a ring, the formed ring has one or more ether bonds;
- B represents a unit represented by the following Formula (III);
- ##STR52## wherein R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkyl group;
- L.sub.1 represents --CONH--, --NHCO--, --COO--, --OCO--, --SO--, --CO-- or --O--;
- J.sub.1 represents an alkylene group, an arylene group or --(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.m (CH.sub.2).sub.n -- wherein m represents an integer of 0 to 40 and n represents an integer of 0 to 4;
- Q.sub.1 represents --SO.sub.3 M, --OP(.dbd.O) (OM).sub.2, R.sub.6, ##STR53## wherein M represents a hydrogen atom or a cation, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, R.sub.0, R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, X represents an anion, and P.sub.1 and q.sub.1 independently represent 0 or 1;
- Y represents a hydrogen atom or ##STR54## wherein L.sub.2 represents --CONH--, --NHCO--, --COO--, --OCO--, --SO--, --CO-- or --O--;
- J.sub.2 represents an alkylene group, an arylene group or --(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.m (CH.sub.2).sub.n -- wherein m represents an integer of 0 to 40 and n represents an integer of 0 to 4;
- Q.sub.2 represents --SO.sub.3 M, --OP(.dbd.O) (OM).sub.2, R.sub.6, ##STR55## wherein M represents a hydrogen atom or a cation, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, R.sub.10, R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, X represents an anion, and p.sub.2 and q.sub.2 independently represent 0 or 1 or Y may combine with --(L.sub.1).sub.p1 (J.sub.1).sub.q1 Q.sub.1 to form a ring;
- C represents a repeating unit other than units A and B;
- and x is 10 to 99 mol %, y is 90 to 1 mol %, and z is 0 to 70 mol %.
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support and provided thereon, a hydrophilic colloid layer comprising a silver halide emulsion layer, wherein said hydrophilic colloid layer comprises gelatin and a compound in an amount of 1 to 50% by weight based on the gelatin content, said compound having a solubility of not less than 1 g based on 100 g of water of 25.degree. C. and being represented by the following Formula (I):
- ##STR57## wherein A represents a repeating unit represented by the following Formula (II);
- ##STR58## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms;
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may combine to form a ring, provided that one of R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represents a group having not less than two ether bonds or a group having one tetrahydrofurfuryl group as an ether group or when R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 combine to form a ring, the formed ring has one or more ether bonds;
- B represents a unit represented by the following Formula (III) ##STR59## wherein R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkyl group;
- L.sub.1 represents --CONH--, --NHCO--, --COO--, --OCO--, --SO--, --CO-- or --O--;
- J.sub.1 represents an alkylene group, an arylene group or --(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.m (CH.sub.2).sub.n -- wherein m represents an integer of 0 to 40 and n represents an integer of 0 to 4;
- Q.sub.1 represents --SO.sub.3 M, --OP(.dbd.O)(OM).sub.2, R.sub.6, ##STR60## wherein M represents a hydrogen atom or a cation, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, R.sub.10, R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, X represents an anion, and Pl and ql independently represent 0 or 1;
- Y represents a hydrogen atom or ##STR61## wherein L.sub.2 represents --CONH--, --NHCO--, --COO--, --OCO--, --SO--, --CO-- or --O--;
- J.sub.2 represents an alkylene group, an arylene group or --(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.m (CH.sub.2).sub.n -- wherein m represents an integer of 0 to 40 and n represents an integer of 0 to 4;
- Q.sub.2 represents --SO.sub.3 M, --OP(.dbd.O) (OM).sub.2, R.sub.6, ##STR62## wherein M represents a hydrogen atom or a cation, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, R.sub.10, R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, X represents an anion, and P.sub.2 and q.sub.2 independently represent 0 or 1 or Y may combine with --(L.sub.1).sub.p1( J.sub.1).sub.q1 Q.sub.1 to form a ring;
- C represents a repeating unit other than units A and B;
- and
- x is 10 to 99 mol %, y is 90 to 1 mol %, and z is 0 to 70 mol %.
