Silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having provided thereon at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer comprising (a) a cyan dye-forming coupler represented by the following formulas (I-a) or (II-a):

• ##STR55## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each are an electron attractive group having a Hammett's substituent constant .sigma..sub.p of 0.20 or more and the sum of the .sigma..sub.p values of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is 0.65 or more;
• R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent;
• X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of splitting off upon a reaction with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent;
• and
• the group represented by R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 or X may become a divalent group and combine with a monomer higher than a dimer and a high molecular weight chain to form a homopolymer or a copolymer;
• and
• (b) a compound represented by the following formula (A):
• ##STR56## wherein R.sub.a1 represents an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, --Si(R.sub.a7) (R.sub.a8 (R.sub.a9), --CO(R.sub.a10), --SO.sub.2 (R.sub.a11), or --P(O).sub.n (R.sub.a12) (R.sub.a13);
• R.sub.a2, R.sub.a3, R.sub.a4, R.sub.a5 and R.sub.a6 may be the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom, --X'--R.sub.a1, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, an aliphatic oxycarbonyl group, an aromatic oxycarbonyl group, a halogen atom, an acyl group, a sulfonyl group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a cyano group, a nitro group, a sulfo group, or a carboxyl group;
• --X--represents --O-- or --N(R.sub.a1 ')--;
• --X'-- represents --O--, --S-- or --N(R.sub.a1)--;
• R.sub.a7, R.sub.a8 and R.sub.a9 may be the same or different and each represent an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, an aliphatic oxy group, or an aromatic oxy group;
• R.sub.a10 and R.sub.a11 each represent an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, an aliphatic amino group, or an aromatic amino group;
• R.sub.a12 and R.sub.a13 may be the same or different and each represent an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, an aliphatic oxy group, or an aromatic oxy group;
• n represents 0 or 1;
• and
• R.sub.a1 ' represents a hydrogen atom or a group defined for R.sub.a1 ;
• of the respective groups of --X--R.sub.a1 and R.sub.a2 to R.sub.a6, the groups located in an ortho position to each other may be combined to form a 5 to 8-membered ring;
• and where --X-- or --X'-- is --N(R.sub.a1 ')--, R.sub.a1 and R.sub.a1 ' may be combined with each together to form a 5 to 8- membered ring.
