Vulcanizable rubber composition

A vulcanizable rubber composition for a tire sidewall comprising:

• a higher .alpha.-olefin (1) consisting of a higher .alpha.-olefin having 6-20 carbon atoms, and an .alpha., .omega.-diene represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR10## wherein n is an integer of 1-3, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represent independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1-8 carbon atoms, and a non-conjugated diene represented by the following general formula (II) ##STR11## wherein n is an integer of 1-5, R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms, and R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1-8 carbon atoms, provided that both R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are not hydrogen atoms simultaneously, and
• a diene rubber (2) which is a member selected from the group consisting of a natural rubber, isoprene rubber, SBR, BR or a mixture thereof, which composition has a weight ratio ((1)/(2)) is in the range of from 5/95 to 50/50.

A vulcanizable rubber composition for a tire tread comprising:

• a higher .alpha.-olefin (1) consisting of a higher .alpha.-olefin having 6-20 carbon atoms, and an .alpha., .omega.-diene represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR12## wherein n is an integer of 1-3, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represent independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1-8 carbon atoms, and a non-conjugated diene represented by the following general formula (II) ##STR13## wherein n is an integer of 1-5, R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms, and R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1-8 carbon atoms, provided that both R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are not hydrogen atoms simultaneously, and
• a diene rubber (2) which is a member selected from the group consisting of a natural rubber, isoprene rubber, SBR, BR or a mixture thereof, which composition has a weight ratio ((1)/(2)) is in the range of from 1/99 to 50/50.

A vulcanizable rubber composition comprising:

• a higher .alpha.-olefin (1) consisting of a higher .alpha.-olefin having 6-20 carbon atoms, and an .alpha., .omega.-diene represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR14## wherein n is an integer of 1-3, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represent independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1-8 carbon atoms, and a non-conjugated diene represented by the following general formula (II) ##STR15## wherein n is an integer of 1-5, R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms, and R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1-8 carbon atoms, provided that both R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are not hydrogen atoms simultaneously, and
• at least one diene rubber (2) which is a member selected from the group consisting of a natural rubber, isprene rubber, SBR, BR or a mixture thereof, which composition has a weight ratio ((1)/(2)) of said higher .alpha.-olefin copolymer (1) to said rubber (2) in the range of from 5/95 to 95/5.
