Abstract
An ink jet printing process includes jetting an ink composition onto a substrate. The ink composition is an emulsion or suspension of an organic phase in a water phase, the organic phase including at least one of oil and wax.
Claims18
An ink jet printing process for an ink jet printing system which supplies an informational signal pulse, comprising the steps of providing an ink composition comprising a suspension of wax particles having a melting temperature less than about 150.degree. C., and having an average particle diameter of about 0.01 micrometer to about 2 micrometers in a water phase and a colorant, said water phase present in an amount 50 to 99% by weight and jetting said ink composition onto a substrate in response to said informational signal pulse.
