Abstract
According to the present invention, a dental adhesive comprising glyceryl mono(meth)acrylate and a polymerizable monomer having at least one olefinic double bond and capable of copolymerizing with said glyceryl mono(meth)acrylate is provided.

A dental adhesive comprising glyceryl mono(meth)acrylate and a polymerizable monomer having at least one olefinic double bond and capable of copolymerizing with said glyceryl mono(meth)acrylate,
- wherein the polymerizable monomer is a polymerizable acid monomer having at least one olefinic double bond and at least one acid group selected from the group consisting of ##STR27## in which Z represents halogen, and further the above-mentioned groups do not link to hydroxyl, halogen or ##STR28## and said ##STR29## group links to an organic group having at least 8 carbon atoms.
