Abstract
Polymer latices in which the dispersed particles consist of a soft core and a hard shell are suitable plasticizers for gelatine in photographic recording materials.
Claims7
Colour photographic recording material comprising at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one light-sensitive or non-light-sensitive gelatine-containing binder layer containing a dispersion of a photographic auxiliary substance, an oil former and a gelatine plasticizer wherein the gelatine plasticizer is a polymer latex in which the dispersed particles consist to an extent of from 80 to 95% by weight of a soft core wherein the polymer has a glass transition temperature T.sub.g below -10.degree. C. and from 5 to 20% by weight of a hard shell wherein the polymer has a glass transition temperature T.sub.g above 36.degree. C.
