Abstract
Derivatives of 3-phenyl-4-aroyl-1,2-dihydronaphthalenes and 1-aroyl-2-phenylnaphthalenes are useful as antifertility agents.
Claims3
A compound of the formula ##STR17## in which X is --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 -- or --CH.dbd.CH--;
- R is hydrogen, hydroxyl, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkoxy;
- R.sub.1 is hydrogen, hydroxyl, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkoxy;
- and R.sub.4 is hydroxyl.
