Abstract
An herbicide antidote having the formula ##STR1## in which X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and halogen wherein the halogen is chlorine, bromine or iodine.
Claims13
A composition comprising:
- (a) an herbicidally effective amount of a thiocarbamate compound of the formula:
- ##STR9## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each alkyl having 1-6 carbon atoms, inclusive;
- (b) an non-phytotoxic antidotally effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR10## in which X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and halogen wherein the halogen is chlorine, bromine or iodine.
A composition as defined in cllaim 1 wherein X is hydrogen.
A method of controlling undesirable vegetation and reducing herbicidal crop injury due to a thiolcarbamate herbicide which comprises applying to the locus where control is desired a non-phytotoxic antidotally effective amount of a compound of the formula:
- ##STR11## in which X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogenn and halogen wherein the halogen is chlorine, bromine or iodine.
A method of controlling undesirable vegetation and reducing crop injury due to a thiolcarbamate herbicide which comprises applying to the locus where control is desired a composition comprising:
- (a) an herbicidally effective amount of a thiocarbamate compound of the formula:
- ##STR12## in which R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each alkyl having 1-6 carbon atoms, inclusive;
- (b) an non-phytotoxic antidotally effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR13## in which X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogenn and halogen wherein the halogen is chlorine, bromine or iodine.
