Abstract
A herbicidal composition comprising a herbicidally effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is methoxy, ethoxy, propoxy, isopropoxy or allyloxy and an agriculturally acceptable carrier and a method for inhibiting growth of weeds comprising applying the herbicidal composition to soil medium to inhibit the growth of weeds is disclosed.

A method for inhibiting growth of weeds comprising applying a herbicidally effective amount of a compound of the formula:
- ##STR14## wherein R is a methoxy-, ethoxy-, propoxy-, isopropoxy- or allyloxy to soil to inhibit the growth of weeds.
