Abstract
A method of continuously producing in high yield ethyl silicate having a predetermined content of silica by adjusting the flowrate of reactants to the reactor in relation to the temperature of the reaction.

A method of continuously producing ethyl silicate, having a predetermined percentage of silica content, in high yields from the reactants silicon tetrachloride, ethanol and water comprising adjusting the flowrate of the reactants to the reactor in relation to fluctuations in the temperature of the reaction in the reactor.
