Abstract
Dimethyl dichlorovinylcyclopropyl carboxylic acid esters of substituted (alkyl, aryl, halo, amino, etc.) polycyclic alcohols are insecticidal.
Claims45
A compound having the formula:
- where R.sup.1 is ##STR8## ##STR9## wherein X is F, Cl, Br or methyl;
- Y is methyl or Cl;
- Z is F, Cl, Br, CF.sub.3, CF.sub.3 O, CF.sub.3 S, CHF.sub.2, CHF.sub.2 O, or CHF.sub.2 S;
- and R.sup.2 is ##STR10## with the provisos that when R.sup.2 is ##STR11## then R.sup.1 must be ##STR12## and when R.sup.2 is ##STR13## then R.sup.1 must be ##STR14## wherein X.sup.1 is F, Cl or Br, and X, Y and Z are defined as above.
