Abstract
Fructose is effectively separated from a mixture of sugars by contacting an aqueous solution of a mixture of sugars with crystalline alumino-silicate.
Claims9
A method for separation of fructose from a mixture of sugars essentially containing fructose and glucose, which method comprises contacting an aqueous solution of said mixture of sugars with crystalline alumino-silicate having an average pore diameter greater than about 5 A, desorbing the adsorbed sugars with water and separating the fructose-rich fraction obtained.
