Abstract
A method for processing a photographic light-sensitive material, which comprises developing an exposed silver halide photographic material in a developer containing a developing agent and a dialdehyde compound, and fixing the material in a fixing solution containing (1) a thiosulfate, (2) a water-soluble aluminum salt and (3) at least 0.005 mol/liter of tartaric acid, or a salt thereof, citric acid or a salt thereof, or a mixture thereof.
Claims7
A method for processing a photographic light-sensitive material, which comprises developing an imagewise exposed silver halide photographic material in a developer containing a developing agent and dialdehyde compound hardening agent selected from the group consisting of glutaraldehyde, .alpha.-methylglutaraldehyde, .beta.-methylglutaraldehyde, maleic dialdehyde, succinic dialdehyde, methoxysuccinic dialdehyde, methylsuccinic dialdehyde, .alpha.-methoxy-.beta.-ethoxyglutaraldehyde, .beta.-n-butoxyglutaraldehyde, .alpha.-ethyl-.beta.-ethoxyglutaraldehyde, .alpha., .alpha.-dimethoxysuccinic dialdehyde, .beta.-isopropylsuccinic dialdehyde, .alpha.,.alpha.-diethylsuccinic dialdehyde, butylmaleic dialdehyde, the bisulfite adducts thereof and mixtures thereof, and fixing said material in a fixing solution containing (1) a thiosulfate, (2) a water-soluble aluminum salt and (3) 0.005 mol/liter to 0.04 mol/liter of tartaric acid, or a salt thereof, citric acid or a salt thereof, or a mixture thereof.
