Information processing system, communication device, and processing method

A communication device comprising:

• a first wireless communication section that performs communication according to a first wireless communication standard;
• a second wireless communication section that performs communication according to a second wireless communication standard;
• a presentation section that presents information;
• a determination section that determines whether a strength of a signal received by the second wireless communication section from a terminal device carried by a user is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold;
• and
• a wireless setting section that, when it is determined that the strength is equal to or more than the threshold, causes the presentation section to present predetermined information, and, when it is determined that the strength is less than the threshold, causes the second wireless communication section to transmit the predetermined information, wherein
• the predetermined information is information that is required to be provided to the terminal device in order for the terminal device to start communication according to a predetermined communication procedure for the first wireless communication section to receive access point information, which is information used to establish a wireless communication connection between an access point and the first wireless communication section, from the terminal device.

A processing method for a communication device including a first wireless communication section that performs communication according to a first wireless communication standard, a second wireless communication section that performs communication according to a second wireless communication standard, and a presentation section that presents information, the method comprising:

• determining whether a strength of a signal received from a terminal device carried by a user by the second wireless communication section is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold;
• when it is determined that the strength is equal to or more than the threshold, causing the presentation section to present predetermined information;
• and
• when it is determined that the strength is less than the threshold, causing the second wireless communication section to transmit the predetermined information, wherein
• the predetermined information is information that is required to be provided to the terminal device in order for the terminal device to start communication according to a predetermined communication procedure for the first wireless communication section to receive access point information, which is information used to establish a wireless communication connection between an access point and the first wireless communication section, from the terminal device.
