The method according to claim wherein the terminal is a first terminal;, and the method further comprises one of:

• sending a message 1 (MSG1), wherein a preamble code of the MSG1 is a first predetermined preamble code;
• the first predetermined preamble code is configured to indicate waking up the network device or initiating a first service;
• sending a message 3 (MSG3), wherein a first predetermined bit of the MSG3 is configured to indicate that the first terminal initiates the first service;
• or
• sending a message 3 (MSG3), wherein a logical channel identifier (LCID) in a media access control (MAC) subheader corresponding to the MSG3 is a first predetermined value;, and the first predetermined value is configured to indicate waking up the network device or initiating the first service.

An information processing method, for a communication system comprising a network device and a terminal, comprising:

• determining, via the network device, based on at least one of a whether the terminal supports a Network Energy Saving (NES) capability or a determination that the terminal triggers the service, at least one of
• whether the network device exits an NES mode,
• whether the network device maintains the NES mode,
• a first duration for waking up after exiting the NES mode, or
• the first duration for keeping the network device awake;
• and
• wherein the terminal resides in a cell in the NES mode.
