Abstract
Method and user equipment for handling a cyclic prefix for an on-off keying, OOK, signal transmitted by an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing, OFDM, transmitter One aspect of the invention provides a method performed by a user equipment. The method comprises receiving a signal comprising a cyclic prefix and an OOK signal and discarding or using the cyclic prefix in the received signal to detect the OOK signal.

A method performed by a user equipment for handling a cyclic prefix for an on-off keying, OOK, signal transmitted by an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing, OFDM, transmitter, the method comprising:
- receiving a signal comprising a cyclic prefix and an OOK signal;
- and
- discarding or using the cyclic prefix in the received signal to detect the OOK signal.
A user equipment for handling a cyclic prefix for an on-off keying, OOK, signal transmitted by an OFDM transmitter, the user equipment configured to:
- receive a signal comprising a cyclic prefix and an OOK signal;
- and
- discard or use the cyclic prefix in the received signal to detect the OOK signal.
