Embodiments relate to apparatus, methods and computer program products which support use of sounding reference signal resource in a wireless communication network. In particular, embodiments relate to apparatus, methods and computer program products which support transmission of a sounding reference signal in the event that resource allocated to the sounding reference signal overlaps with allocation of that resource to a different transmission. According to one embodiment, there may be provided a mobile network node, for example a UE or similar. The UE may comprise at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the network node at least to: receive an indication of a configuration for a single resource sounding reference signal transmission; determine, based on the indication, transmission resource allocated to the single resource sounding reference signal transmission; receive an indication of transmission resource allocated to a physical uplink control channel transmission; evaluate an extent of an overlap between the transmission resource allocated to the single resource sounding reference signal; and select, based on the extent of overlap, what to transmit in the transmission resource allocated to the single resource sounding reference signal transmission. Arrangements provide mechanisms to support UE behaviour in relation to a single resource sounding reference signal transmission for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing symbols associated with the single resource sounding reference signal when such sounding reference signal is determined to overlap, conflict or collide with a physical uplink control channel transmission.
