Abstract

This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for bit to constellation mapping for FSI. For example, a wireless device may communicate an indication of information for an integrated spectrum channel of a single virtual cell, where the integrated spectrum channel includes a set of sub-bands associated with different modulation orders, different ranks, or both. Thus, the wireless device may generate a single transport block (TB) based on a set of code blocks (CBs) associated with the single transport block being mapped to the set of sub-bands in accordance with a mapping configuration and may transmit the single TB via the set of sub-bands in the integrated spectrum channel. In such cases, the mapping configuration may be based on the set of sub-bands being associated with the different modulation orders, the different ranks, or both.

Dependent claims

A wireless device, comprising:

one or more memories storing processor-executable code;
and
one or more processors coupled with the one or more memories and individually or collectively operable to execute the code to cause the wireless device to:
communicate an indication of information for an integrated spectrum channel of a single virtual cell, the integrated spectrum channel comprising a set of sub-bands that are formed by combining frequency resources from multiple frequency bands, wherein the set of sub-bands comprises at least a first sub-band associated with a first modulation order and a first rank and a second sub-band associated with a second modulation order and a second rank;
and
transmit a single transport block via the set of sub-bands in the integrated spectrum channel, wherein the single transport block is generated based at least in part on a set of code blocks associated with the single transport block being mapped to the set of sub-bands in accordance with a mapping configuration, wherein the mapping configuration is based at least in part on the first modulation order being different from the second modulation order, the first rank being different from the second rank, or both.
