Electronic device and method for controlling brightness of always on display content, and storage medium

An electronic device comprising:

• a sensor configured to detect ambient illuminance;
• a display;
• at least one processor;
• and
• memory, comprising one or more storage media, storing instructions,
• wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to:
• identify a maximum value among a red (R) value, a green (G) value, and a blue (B) value of content,
• acquire a difference value by comparing an RGB value of a reference table corresponding to the detected ambient illuminance with the identified maximum value,
• adjust the R value, the G value, and the B value of the content, based on the acquired difference value, and
• display the content, the R value, the G value, and the B value of which have been adjusted, as the always-on-display content on the display.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media storing one or more computer programs including computer-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of an electronic device individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to perform operations, the operations comprising:

• detecting ambient illuminance;
• identifying a maximum value among a red (R) value, a green (G) value, and a blue (B) value of content;
• acquiring a difference value by comparing an RGB value of a reference table corresponding to the detected ambient illuminance with the identified maximum value;
• adjusting an R value, a G value, and a B value of the content, based on the acquired difference value;
• and
• displaying the content, the R value, the G value, and the B value of which have been adjusted, as always-on-display content on a display.
