Systems and methods for dynamically updating user interface elements based on detecting degradation of user ability are provided. A computer-implemented method can include identifying an input intent and an output intent associated with an application. The computer-implemented method can also include accessing an ability profile of a user. The ability profile can include one or more characteristics associated with a cognitive or sensory ability of the user. The computer-implemented method can also include processing the input intent, the output intent, and the ability profile to determine an accessibility configuration that includes instructions to dynamically modify or replace content of the application. The computer-implemented method can also include selecting a set of user-interface elements corresponding to the content. The computer-implemented method can also include adjusting one or more content characteristics of the set of user-interface elements according to the accessibility configuration.
A computer-implemented method comprising:
A system comprising:
The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the input intent or the output intent are specified using a software development environment associated with the degradation-monitoring system.
The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the ability profile indicates an estimated level of ability degradation associated with the cognitive or sensory ability of the user.
The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the ability profile indicates an estimated rate of ability degradation associated with the cognitive or sensory ability of the user.
The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the accessibility configuration is determined by processing the input intent, the output intent, and the ability profile using a machine-learning model.
The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the set of user-interface elements include icons, text, images, video, animation, control elements (buttons, sliders, input fields, etc.), charts, 3D models, augmented reality overlays, and virtual reality scenes.
The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the ability profile is generated based on activity patterns associated with the user, wherein the activity patterns are collected based on one or more user interactions with a tester application.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
