Abstract
Power supply and distribution architectures, e.g., for supplying and distributing power to a GPU accelerator array of a data center server. In at least one embodiment, a power supply and distribution architecture includes a power distribution board having both a power converter for converting a supply voltage of a power supply to an operating voltage of a GPU and a GPU power connector for transmitting power to the GPU at the operating voltage.

A power distribution board (PDB), the PDB comprising:
- a supply input unit to receive power at a supply voltage;
- a power converter to convert the power received at a supply voltage to an operating voltage of a graphics processing unit (GPU);
- and
- one or more GPU power connectors to provide power directly to one or more GPUs at the operating voltage.

- one or more power supply units (PSUs) to supply power at a supply voltage;
- one or more busbars to transmit the power at the supply voltage;
- and
- a power distribution board (PDB) configured to receive the power at the supply voltage from the one or more busbars, the PDB comprising:
- a supply input unit to receive the power at the supply voltage;
- a power converter to convert the power received at the supply voltage to an operating voltage of a graphics processing unit (GPU);
