An image forming system includes: an image former configured to form an image on continuous paper; a color measurement section configured to measure color of the image formed on the continuous paper by the image former; a conveyor configured to convey the continuous paper; and a hardware processor configured to control: a first operation of causing the conveyor to convey the continuous paper by a predetermined length in a conveyance direction and to rewind-convey the continuous paper by the predetermined length in a direction opposite to the conveyance direction; and a second operation of moving the color measurement section by a predetermined distance in a width direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the continuous paper. The hardware processor repeats the first operation and the second operation until color measurement of the image by the color measurement section is completed.
