Ice storing assembly for a refrigerator appliance

A refrigerator appliance defining a vertical direction, a lateral direction, and a transverse direction, comprising:

• a cabinet defining a chilled chamber;
• a door moveably coupled with the chilled chamber, wherein the door moves between an open position and a closed position;
• and
• an ice storing assembly coupled with the door, the ice storing assembly selectively disposed within the cabinet, the ice storing assembly comprising:
• a bracket coupled with the door;
• a tray hingedly coupled with the bracket, wherein the tray moves between a stored position and an accessible position;
• a plate coupled with the tray;
• and
• a latch assembly moveably coupled with the tray and the plate, wherein the latch assembly moves between a locked position and an unlocked position, and wherein the latch assembly is removably coupled with the bracket.
