Abstract

A multi-way switching valve device includes: a base member having a cylindrical recess centered on a predetermined axis and a plurality of openings formed on an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical recess within an angle range narrower than a half circumference to define an inlet and an outlet of each of a plurality of fluid passages; a columnar multi-way switching valve having a plurality of hollowed-out passage parts on an outer circumferential surface and rotatably disposed around the axis in the cylindrical recess to perform opening and closing operations of the plurality of openings; a seal member disposed between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface corresponding to the angle range; and a spacer member disposed between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface in a region on an opposite side of the seal member across the axis.
