Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to a binder composition and products formed therefrom. Further, the present disclosure is directed to a method of making such binder composition. Notably, the method may include applying a coating composition to a first binder composition having a temperature of about 70° C. or more when the coating composition is initially applied to the first binder composition. The coating composition may include a coating additive. The first binder composition may include a cement.
Claims28
A method for making a binder composition comprising:
- subjecting a binder to a thermal treatment to form a first binder composition;
- and
- applying a coating composition to the first binder composition to form a second binder composition, the coating composition comprising water and a coating additive, the first binder composition having a temperature of about 70° C. or more when the coating composition is initially applied to the first binder composition.
