Abstract

A system for cleaning a lens of a sensor can include a sensor comprising a lens, an airflow device comprising a tube disposed around the sensor, the tube defining a central opening, an inner surface, and an outer surface, a single inlet orifice disposed at the outer surface of the tube, an outlet orifice disposed on the tube and directed at the lens, an air supply configured to provide an air to the single inlet orifice, and a wash system configured to provide a liquid to the single inlet orifice, wherein the air from the air supply and the liquid from the wash system enter the tube together through the single inlet orifice and exit through the outlet orifice to prevent debris accumulation around the lens and/or remove debris from the lens.
