Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an actuator for a vehicle seat comprising a motor; a reduction gear driven by the output shaft of the motor, the reduction gear comprising an eccentric cam wheel driving an orbital gear wheel, an output member forming an inner ring gear receiving the orbital gear wheel, the pinion and the inner ring gear being aligned along an axis of rotation of the output member; a friction member functionally arranged between the cam of the eccentric cam wheel and the output member. The friction member is configured to generate a resistive torque on the asymmetrical output member, depending on the direction of rotation of the output member about the axis of rotation.
