A polymer for use as a slippery coating, said polymer being a water-soluble heat-sensitive polymer comprising at least one heat-sensitive polyoxyalkylene triblock type linear chain consisting of polyethylene oxide (PEO) blocks and polypropylene oxide (PPO) blocks, said chain having the form PEO-PPO-PEO and being extended at at least one of its ends by an organic group via a carbamate bond and/or a urea bond, wherein said polymer is capable of forming a thermoreversible physical gel having a high viscosity index.
