Abstract
The present invention provides methods for treatment and/or prevention of myocardial ischemia and myocardial infarction comprising administering compositions comprising stabilized amorphous calcium carbonate.

A method for treating or preventing myocardial ischemia in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising:
- administering to said subject a composition comprising amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) stabilized by at least one stabilizer, thereby treating or preventing myocardial ischemia.
