A non-invasive glycemic monitoring system uses a breath-sensing device to acquire repeated breath sessions from a user and to generate volatile organic compound information together with sample-quality and environmental information. A computing system receives a lab-derived A1C baseline for the user and uses the baseline with the breath-derived information to initialize and update a personalized model. Accepted breath sessions are stored in a rolling history and used to generate a projected A1C trend and a daily progress score or zone output representative of the user’s glycemic trajectory. In some embodiments, humidity, temperature, and sample-quality information are used to normalize breath-session data, and optional external inputs including finger-stick data, continuous glucose monitor data, or other external data are fused with the breath-derived information to refine personalization, anomaly handling, reporting, and confirmatory prompts.
