Abstract

A dishwasher comprises a tub, an injection unit comprising a nozzle configured to inject washing water inside of the tub, a sump configured to accommodate washing water to be supplied to the injection unit, and a water treatment device configured to treat washing water to be supplied to the sump. The water treatment device includes a case including an inlet port and a discharge port, a deionization module comprising an electrode capable of adsorbing ionic substances contained in water supplied through the inlet port, and an accommodation portion comprising a chamber provided on a flow path through which water supplied through the inlet port flows to the deionization module, the accommodation portion being capable of accommodating a regenerative material for removing ions adsorbed on the deionization module.
