Abstract
A modular base frame for a set of seating units includes a pair of support legs that each have an upper horizontal segment, a lower horizontal segment, and a rear facing vertical segment that form a first connection between the upper horizontal segment and the lower horizontal segment. A front facing angled segment forms a second connection between the upper horizontal segment and the lower horizontal segment. The upper horizontal segment is adapted to attach to a seating unit and the lower horizontal segment attaches to a flooring substrate.
Claims20
A modular base frame for a set of seating units, the modular base frame comprising:
- a pair of support legs each comprising an upper horizontal segment, a lower horizontal segment, a rear facing vertical segment forming a first connection between the upper horizontal segment and the lower horizontal segment, and a front facing angled segment forming a second connection between the upper horizontal segment and the lower horizontal segment;
- and
- wherein the upper horizontal segment is adapted to attach to a seating unit and the lower horizontal segment attaches to a flooring substrate.
A modular base frame for a set of seating units, the modular base frame comprising:
- a pair of support legs each comprising an upper horizontal segment, a lower horizontal segment, a rear facing vertical segment forming a first connection between the upper horizontal segment and the lower horizontal segment, and a front facing angled segment forming a second connection between the upper horizontal segment and the lower horizontal segment;
- the upper horizontal segment is adapted to attach to a seating unit and the lower horizontal segment attaches to a flooring substrate;
- and
- at least one of:
- wire management conduit and electrical connectors integrated and routed through the modular support legs, or a mounting track attached to the flooring substrate, the mounting track having a series of pre-drilled mounting hole locations at predefined spacings so as to accommodate various seat spacing and seat widths, or a combination of both the wire management conduit and electrical connectors and the mounting track.
