Abstract
Described herein are compositions of concentrated protein compositions derived from milk and processes for the preparation of said compositions.

A liquid nutritional composition derived from milk, comprising:
- protein at a protein concentration of at least about 0.15 g/mL;
- optionally, fat at a fat concentration of less than about 0.01 g/mL;
- and
- optionally, lactose, at a lactose concentration of less than about 0.01 g/mL.

A process for preparing a liquid nutritional composition comprising:
- (i) filtering a first protein solution via ultrafiltration, thereby producing a second protein solution;
- (ii) filtering the second protein solution via diafiltration, thereby producing a third protein solution;
- and
- (iii) concentrating the third protein solution via one or more water-removal techniques, thereby producing the liquid nutritional composition.
