Abstract
A tendering system for an agricultural sprayer includes a first tank sensor configured to generate a first signal based on a level of fluid in a first tank of the agricultural sprayer, a first fill valve configured to control a flow of liquid from tendering equipment into the first tank of the agricultural sprayer, and a tendering module configured to control the actuation of the first tank fill valve and tendering equipment based on at least one of the first signal generated by the first tank sensor and field data.
Claims20
A tendering system for an agricultural sprayer comprising:
- a first tank sensor configured to generate a first signal based on a level of fluid in a first tank of the agricultural sprayer;
- a first fill valve configured to control a flow of liquid from tendering equipment into the first tank of the agricultural sprayer;
- and
- a tendering module configured to control the actuation of the first tank fill valve and tendering equipment based on at least one of the first signal generated by the first tank sensor and field data.
A method of tendering an agricultural sprayer comprising:
- determining a level of fluid in a first tank of the agricultural sprayer,
- calculating an amount of material needed to fill the first tank based on the determined level of fluid in the first tank and a capacity of the first tank, and
- in response to receiving a first user input, opening a first fill valve to permit a flow of liquid from tendering equipment into the first tank and commanding the tendering equipment to transfer the amount of material needed to fill the first tank to the first tank via the first fill valve.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing processor-executable instructions for controlling the tendering of an agricultural sprayer, the instructions comprising:
- determining a level of fluid in a first tank of the agricultural sprayer,
- calculating an amount of material needed to fill the first tank based on the determined level of fluid in the first tank and a capacity of the first tank, and
- in response to receiving a first user input, opening a first fill valve to permit a flow of liquid from tendering equipment into the first tank and commanding the tendering equipment to transfer the amount of material needed to fill the first tank to the first tank via the first fill valve.
