A display device includes a first display area and a second display area, in which a plurality of first transmission areas are disposed in the first display area, and a plurality of second transmission areas are disposed in the second display area, the display device including a substrate, a pixel electrode disposed on the substrate, an emission layer disposed on the pixel electrode, a bank layer covering at least a portion of the pixel electrode, and a light-blocking layer disposed on the bank layer, where an opening is defined in each of the bank layer and the light-blocking layer, at positions overlapping the plurality of first transmission areas, and where an opening is defined in one of the bank layer and the light-blocking layer, at positions overlapping the plurality of second transmission areas.
