Abstract

Various solutions for handover enhancement for non-terrestrial network (NTN) in wireless communications are described. An apparatus may report very small aperture terminal (VSAT) user equipment (UE) capability information to a first network node with a first satellite. Then, the apparatus may receive a handover command from the first network node. The handover command may indicate a handover from the first network node to a second network node with a second satellite. The apparatus may further re-steer a VSAT antenna towards the second satellite within a VSAT antenna re-steering duration, and perform the handover after the VSAT antenna re-steering duration.
