Content-related recommendation and associated reasoning

A gaming system comprising:

• one or more storage media storing instructions;
• and
• one or more processors configured to execute the instructions causing the system to perform operations comprising:
• receiving user specific data of a user;
• providing the user specific data to a machine learning model trained to determine a recommendation for a user device of the user, wherein the user device is integrated with the gaming system;
• generating, using the machine learning model, the recommendation for the user device along with a reason for the recommendation, wherein the reason for the recommendation explains why the user is receiving the recommendation;
• and
• presenting the recommendation and the reason for the recommendation to the user at the user device.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media storing instructions that, upon execution by one or more processors of a system, cause the system to perform operations comprising:

• receiving user specific data of a user;
• providing the user specific data to a machine learning model trained to determine a recommendation for a user device of the user, wherein the user device is integrated with the system;
• generating, using the machine learning model, the recommendation for the user device along with a reason for the recommendation, wherein the reason for the recommendation explains why the user is receiving the recommendation;
• and
• presenting the recommendation and the reason for the recommendation to the user at the user device.
