Retractable arm having a flexible conductor for electrical connectivity

A system, comprising:

• a housing configured to support an arm assembly, the arm assembly configured to transition between a first position and a second position relative to the housing;
• a support assembly configured to guide movement of the arm assembly along a path of movement relative to the housing;
• a first modular component coupled to the housing;
• a second modular component coupled to the arm assembly, the second modular component being spatially displaced from the first modular component;
• circuitry electrically coupled to the first modular component and the second modular component;
• and
• a conductor arrangement integrated with the arm assembly and operable to maintain electrical connectivity between the second modular component and the circuitry;
• wherein the circuitry is configured to control an operational state of at least one of the first modular component or the second modular component based on whether the arm assembly is in the first position or the second position.

A system, comprising:

• a housing configured to support an arm assembly, the arm assembly configured to transition between a first position and a second position relative to the housing;
• a modular component coupled to the arm assembly;
• a support assembly configured to guide movement of the arm assembly along a path of movement relative to the housing;
• and
• wherein movement of the arm assembly between the first position and the second position changes an operational state of the modular component.
